Oglesby, John S. MD, FACOG

Dr. John S. Oglesby joined the Women’s Health Department in July 2023. He is a Board-Certified Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician with an extensive background in treating all women’s health concerns. Dr. Oglesby has been a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG) since 2002. He is also a Wilderness Medicine Fellow, which he completed in 2013.

Dr. Oglesby attended the University of Utah, where he earned a Bachelors Degree, majoring in Biology and minoring in Chemistry and Portuguese. He received his Medical Doctorate from the Medical College of Ohio. He went on to St. Francis Medical Center for his OB/GYN Residency Program. In 2006, he attended the GYN Robotics Externship at Tacoma General Hospital.

Dr. Oglesby specializes in robotics, pelvic pain and vaginal reconstruction. He enjoys providing his patients with personalized care by getting to know them and understanding their individual needs.

Dr. Oglesby is single and has 10 children. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, history, medical missions, sword fencing and skiing.
