Allison Arends, AGNP joined NBMC’s Bariatric Department in July 2025. Her education began with an Associates Degree in Nursing from Moberly Area Community College in Missouri, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Central Methodist University. She earned a Master of Science in Nursing from Maryville University and is presently working on earning a doctorate in nursing.

Allison is board certified as an Adult Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGNP) and is a Certified Bariatric Nurse through the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. She brings extensive experience in working with bariatric patients in both clinical and surgical settings. Allison’s practice will focus on providing patients with medical weight loss solutions through medication, and bariatric surgery pre and post operative follow-up care.
