Dr. Pittenger was born in Hamilton, New York, and raised in Florence, Oregon. He attended University of Alaska Fairbanks, where he received a BS in Mathematics in 1995 and continued his education there from 1995 to 1997, majoring in Biochemistry. He attended Medical School at the University of Washington and received his Medical Degree in 2001. He completed his Internal Medicine Internship in 2002 and his Residency Program at the University of Washington in June, 2004. Dr. Pittenger is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and joined NBMC in July, 2004. His practice is limited to Internal Medicine with a specialty interest in Cardiology and Gastroenterology.
Dr. Pittenger enjoys running, swimming, biking and various outdoor activities.
