Chaney, Susan L., CNM, NP

Susan Chaney, CNM, NP joined the Women’s Health Department at NBMC in January of 2026. Susan attended Oregon Health & Sciences University where she earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master’s in Nursing – Nurse Practitioner; Nurse-Midwifery.

Susan’s practice will focus on gynecology, birth control, hormone therapy replacement, peri and post menopausal care, pelvic floor health, annual well woman exams, breast exams, mammogram referrals and sexual/reproductive health. Susan uses a holistic approach, listens to her patient’s concerns and provides a comprehensive plan to help women feel their very best.

In her personal life, Susan has three grown children who she absolutely adores, along with their bonus loved ones! She is an avid PNW outdoor enthusiast who enjoys mountain biking, skiing, hiking, yoga, dancing and occasionally surfing! She’s excited to return “home” to Coos Bay to care for the women in our community.
