Dr. Ongole was born in the southern state of India. He finished medical school at the prestigious Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad, India. After medical school, Dr. Ongole moved to the United Kingdom and trained for nearly five years in acute care specialties like Emergency Medicine, Intensive Care, Anesthesia ENT and Acute Trauma with Emergency Medicine as the core training subject. Dr. Ongole married his best friend from medical school, Dr. Bhavani Peddagovindu (one of our Internal Medicine providers at our Coos Bay Clinic), and they relocated to the United States.
Dr. Ongole completed his Internal Medicine residency program at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, MA. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and works as a Hospitalist caring for patients admitted to Bay Area Hospital.
Dr. Ongole is passionate about caring for acutely ill patients. He is very excited to be part of the NBMC Hospitalist team. His personal interests include his family, music, movies, the natural beauty of the Oregon coast and the steps of his own spiritual journey.
