Dr. Ryan Pederson was born and raised in Oregon. He then attended Brigham Young University in Utah, where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Zoology in 2001. From there, he decided to pursue an education in Podiatry and attended Des Moines University, graduating in 2007 with a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM). In 2010, Dr. Pederson completed a three-year surgical residency at St. Luke’s Hospital Health Network in Allentown, Pennsylvania and has been practicing on the South coast ever since.

Dr. Pederson enjoys spending time with his wife Tonya and their five children, playing basketball, golf, tennis, mountain biking and fishing. He feels blessed to live and work in such a beautiful part of the country. Living in Coos Bay for the past ten years has allowed him to get to know many people in the area and he is looking forward to continuing to serve the community’s foot and ankle needs at NBMC.
