Dr. Rastogi was born in Trinidad and Tobago. She attended the University of the West Indies at the Mt. Hope campus in Trinidad, from which she graduated with honors in Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology and Obstetrics and Gynecology. In 2004, Dr. Rastogi matched into the State University of New York (SUNY Downstate) Pediatric Residency Program, followed by an additional year as Chief Resident. At graduation, she was awarded the Samuel L. Fisher award for excellence in teaching. In 2008, Dr. Rastogi started a fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), which she completed in 2011. Dr. Rastogi is currently boarded in General Pediatrics and Pediatric Endocrinology. While at OHSU, Dr. Rastogi completed a Certificate in Human Investigations and had the good fortune of presenting at several conferences. She resides in Coos Bay with her husband and two children. She spends her spare time cooking, taking her kids to the park and listening to classical music with her son.
